After his stint as Production Manager of “I Spy,” Michael Fenton went on to become one of the top casting directors in Hollywood.
Some of the more than 250 films for which he's handled casting chores are Chinatown, Godfather II, Shampoo, E.T. - The Extra-Terrestrial, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Marathon Man, the Raiders of the Lost Ark series Norma Rae, Back to the Future I-II-III, Total Recall, Aliens, Breaking Away, and ...And Justice for All.
Co-founder of the Casting Society of America - which aims to enforce a high standard of professionalism in the branch- Michael Fenton is a graduate of UCLA who began his career in films as an agent, then moved on to production and casting at Paramount before joining T&L Productions, where he began working on Sheldon Leonard shows.
Successively head of two of the most prestigious casting agencies in Hollywood, Michael Fenton was honoured in 2000 by the Hollywood Film Festival, and says of his profession, “it is an incredibly joyous and rewarding occupation. I enjoy the work passionately.”
